dsk Architects
This summer I joined dsk Architects through the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Management team at The California Center for Climate Change. I gained hands-on experience applying sustainable design strategies to real-world challenges, contributing research, site analysis, and 3D modeling in SketchUp, Revit, and Figma. Projects included rethinking school façades for daylighting efficiency and passive cooling strategies as well as developing housing solutions for fire-impacted communities in Altadena.

Altadena Post Fire Housing Case Study
For the Altadena Eaton Fire Case Study, I conducted research and site analysis to support recovery housing solutions for communities impacted by the wildfire. Using SketchUp and Figma, I created a case study and modeled design options focused on resilience, sustainability, and community needs. The study emphasized integrating an interior courtyard style design with an ADU along with passive design strategies to maximize natural light and ventilation, and create adaptable layouts for multi-generational living.
Revit
In my commericial space planning course, I was tasked with designing and furnishing an office space with specific square footage alocated for each room. Thoughtful consideration was given to the floorplan with layout choice made to maximize daylighting and employees health and well-being. Optional s-curve working space designed for people who are light sensitive. Furniture by Herman Miller and Coalesse.
