I’m a Los Angeles based designer. My education and experience spans from UX/UI, graphic, media and web as well as Interior architecture design. My background in performing arts and dance have fueled a passion for communication, storytelling, and problem solving. Curious to the core, and constantly in pursuit of knowledge, my creativity is led with empathy, playfulness and a strong desire to improve the lives of others.

The onset of the pandemic presented unexpected challenges for people worldwide, myself included Like many, I grappled with intense feelings of fear and anxiety. Despite the daunting circumstances, I made a bold decision to return to school to pursue my passion in the design industry. This transformative journey has not been merely about acquiring technical skills; it’s about my resilience, determination, and seizing opportunities in the face of uncertainty. I am someone who is committed to turn life’s challenges into triumphs and to inspire others to do the same. This video was made during our collective lockdown. As part of a school project, I was challenged to create, arrange, and edit a story working within specific guidelines that required the use of stock images, video, and music. I earned my certificate degree in UX/UI from UCLA Extension. And I am eager to learn and grow in all areas that will make me a better designer. I am especially interested in service design and accessibility because I value participating in an inclusive world and want to use my skills to make the world a better place for everyone.

With my degrees in UX/UI as well as Graphic and Multi Media design, I felt that I could have a stronger impact on the lives of others by learning how to design spaces. This led me to pursue a degree in Interior Architecture Design. I’d like to use my creativity and problem solving skills to improve the quality of people’s lives. Strong non verbal communication is created through the way a space is designed and experienced by the user. I want to be someone who helps move the needle in a positive direction through design.

As a designer, I felt my work would benefit from having a better understanding of code so I learned some HTML-5 and CSS.
